Your individual blog post elements (post title, featured image, author bio, comments, etc.) will automatically be inserted into your template each time you create a new blog post. 💪 Design Your Search Results Page (Theme Builder)

Elementor Pro allows you to design your default search results page in the same way you design archive pages. The search results page is shown after using the default WordPress search box or the Elementor search box widget. You can use Elementor’s dynamic request parameters to display the search keyword in your title. For example, your search results page title could read “Results for [keyword]” with a fallback title of “Search Results”. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Search Boxes

Elementor Pro’s search box widget allows you to add a search box to any area of your website and customize it’s design to fit your website. The search box widget is available in three skins: default, minimal, and fullscreen. As mentioned earlier, you can also design your search results page using Elementor Pro’s theme builder functionality. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Customize your search box design so it looks better than the default WordPress search
  • Add a search box to any area of your website (header, footer, homepage, archives, etc.)
  • Add a search box to the end of your search results page for users to search again

💪 Design Your 404 Page (Theme Builder)

Elementor Pro’s theme builder functionality allows you to design your default 404 page (this is the page that users see when they try accessing a page/URL that does not exist). People often use this page to experiment with making creative designs. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

😲 Display Conditions

Taking advantage of Elementor Pro’s display conditions is one of the best ways to increase your conversion rate. It allows you to assign different headers, footers, and blog post layouts to specific pages, posts, categories, and tags. The display conditions “include” and “exclude” options allow you to truly target specific users with relevant call to actions, layouts, and targeting. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Create different header designs for different pages (use a minimal header on landing pages)
  • Change your blog post layout based on the post category
  • Display different blog post opt-in forms based on the post category
  • Create different archive layouts for different post categories
  • Create multi-section footers with targeted call to actions for different pages

💪 Global Theme Styles

Elementor Pro’s theme style options allow you to set global defaults to your website’s typography, buttons, images, and forms. After setting your global theme styles, when you drag in a new heading widget, button widget, image widget, or form widget onto your page, your styles will automatically be inherited and you want have to adjust any individual settings (unless you want to override your global defaults). This not only saves you time designing pages, but it also allows you to adjust these widget styles across your entire website all at once. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Make sure all your buttons and images have the same global styling
  • Override your theme’s typography settings (especially if your theme has limited styling)
  • Style your form fields globally (including 3rd-party form fields such as WooCommerce)
  • Adjust your design site-wide without having to edit each widget individually
  • Add custom CSS globally

💪 Global Widgets

Using the global widget feature in Elementor Pro, you can save pre-styled widgets. You can quickly add global widgets to your page that have all your preferred settings and styles pre-selected. When you download our Elementor templates you will find we have included tons of pre-styled widgets you can save as global widgets. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

😲 Custom Post Types & Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

For the first time, you can design your custom posts without any coding using Elementor’s visual editor. Elementor Pro’s integration with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Toolset, and Pods will allow you to insert custom fields into your Elementor templates using their “dynamic” content feature. This will allow you to globally design and manage your custom post types more easily (and without any coding). View Elementor pricing.

Elementor Pro review advanced custom fields

💪 Parallax Motion Effects

You can now add vertical or horizontal parallax effects to any page. Scrolling effects include transparency, blur, rotation, and scale. Other effects such as 3D image tilt and mouse track are also included. Elementor’s custom-built library is light-weight and can be disabled on tablet and mobile for an optimal user experience. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Email Marketing Opt-In Forms & Integrations

Elementor Pro’s form builder allows you to create beautiful email opt-in forms that look much better than the default forms offered by your email marketing provider. The following email marketing providers will integrate directly with Elementor:

  • MailChimp

  • Zapier

Additional integration options are available using the Zapier integration. When creating your opt-in forms you can choose your email list, tags, opt-in method (single or double), redirects, and more, all from within the form widget’s settings. View Elementor pricing.

  • Design beautiful opt-in forms that look more professional than your email marketing provider’s embed options
  • Create global opt-in forms (using global widgets) that are updated site-wide
  • Add tags or assign users to specific groups
  • Add redirects to send your subscribers to a custom thank you page

😲 Popup Builder

The Elementor popup builder is hands-down the #1 WordPress popups builder. Popups are easily created using the Elementor editor (any design is possible). Advanced rules and conditions allow you to choose exactly when and where you want your popups to appear. You can also trigger popups from any link, button, or image. View Elementor pricing.

  • Show exit intent popup on all blog posts
  • Show sales discount popup after two page views
  • Show header banner for users coming from Google
  • Show contact form popup after button click
  • Show opt-in form after a user scrolls halfway down the page

Elementor Pro review - popups

💪 Contact Forms & Surveys

Elementor Pro’s form widget is one of it’s most advanced and feature-rich widgets, allowing you to create all the advanced forms you will ever need. When you create a form, you’ll be able to add a ton of different form fields including text, email, textarea, URL, telephone, radio, dropdown, checkbox, acceptance, number, date, time, file upload, password, HTML, hidden, reCAPTCHA, and honeypot. It can also handle email confirmations, redirects, success messages, and other actions after submit. The form widget includes direct integrations with several email marketing providers as well as limitless integrations using Zapier. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Add a contact form to your contact page
  • Create a “request a quote” form
  • Build advanced intake forms to pre-qualify your prospects
  • Create surveys and feedback forms to help improve your website
  • Launch a contact form, feedback form, or survey inside of a popup
  • Launch a popup after form submission
  • Use hidden fields to attach additional useful information to your form submissions
  • Add reCAPTCHA or use a honeypot field to help prevent spam
  • Add an acceptance field for GDPR compliance
  • Integrate your forms with other software (such as a CRM) using Zapier
  • Replace 3rd-party form plugins such as Contact7, WPForms, Ninja Forms, or Gravity Forms

💪 Multi-Step Forms

Elementor Pro’s form widget offers the ability to break up your longer forms into smaller multi-step forms that are less overwhelming and easy to follow. Why use multi-forms steps? Because typically you will see better conversion rates when your forms feel less overwhelming to your users. A user is also more likely to complete a form once they’ve psychologically committed themselves to the process and made progress (completed the first step in a multi-step form). View Elementor pricing.

💪 Action Links (Click To Call)

Elementor Pro allows you to convert any widget (images, buttons, icons, text links) into an “action link” that triggers different interactions. For example, you can add a clickable telephone icon that automatically calls your business phone number on mobile devices. In addition to phone numbers, action links can also trigger SMS, WhatsApp, Skype, Messenger, Viber, Waze, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, and Yahoo Calendar. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Add a clickable link (or button) to call your business telephone number
  • Add a clickable link (or button) to start chatting on WhatsApp, Messenger, Viber, or Skype
  • Add a clickable link (or button) to add an appointment to your Google or Outlook calendar

💪 Dynamic Request Parameters

Elementor Pro’s dynamic request parameters allow you to take different query parameters found in your URLs and add them to different widgets on the page. For example, let’s say I send out an automated email to my subscribers in MailChimp with a link to download a free whitepaper. If I use dynamic links inside my email and append the subscriber’s name to the URL ([subscriber-name]), I can then display their name in the title of my landing page. So that way, when the visitor visits the page, they will be greeted with a personalized title (such as “Hi John, Here’s Your Free Whitepaper”). Once you better understand query parameters you’ll discover a lot of different use cases (watch the video below to learn more). View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Show personalized titles on your landing pages such as “Hi Jennifer, Here’s Your Gift”
  • Prepopulate your opt-in forms with a user’s unique name and email address
  • Prepopulate your contact forms with a subject line based on the referring link

💪 Image Galleries & Portfolios

Elementor Pro’s gallery widget was built from the ground up to be the best WordPress portfolio gallery. The layout options include basic grid (choose your preferred aspect ratio), justified (each row is the same height), and masonry (each image is the same width but different height). A lot of different design options are available including mouse-over animations, CSS filters, blend modes and more. You can overlay the title, caption, alt, and description on top of your photos. You can also add filters so users can select which category of images they want to see. When a user clicks on one of your photos you can either open the image in a lightbox or send the user to another page. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Media (Image) Carousels

Elementor Pro’s media carousel widget allows you to rotate multiple pieces of content (in this case images) within the same widget. You can set your carousels to scroll through your images manually or you can force users to click the next button to view more. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Content Sliders

The Elementor Pro slides widget let’s you create a slideshow (or carousel) of revolving images with call to actions. For usability reasons, I wouldn’t really recommend using sliders on your website since most users aren’t going to wait to view the entire slideshow (or even realize there is hidden content). It would be more user-friendly to use multiple call to action widgets or a gallery so users can visualize everything at once instead of having to cycle through the options. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Price Tables & Price Lists

Elementor Pro’s price table widget allows you to create beautifully designed pricing tables for your products or services plans. Pricing tables can be used for single products/plans or multiple products/plans. View Elementor pricing.

Elementor Pro’s price list widget allows you to create a pricing list like what you would see in a restaurant menu. Price lists can be used in all kinds of different ways for anybody that has too many products for a pricing table. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Social Media Sharing Buttons

Elementor Pro’s share button widget allows you to easily add social media sharing buttons to your website. These buttons will let your users easily share your content on different social media networks. The available social networks include: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, VK, OK, Tumblr, Delicious, Digg, Skype, StumbleUpon, Mix, Telegram, Pocket, XING, WhatsApp, Email, and Print. You can choose from multiple shapes, styles, and skins. These will look a lot better than using a 3rd party plugin or service since you’ll have more control over their design. View Elementor pricing.

Elementor Pro review - social sharing buttons

💪 Facebook Like Buttons, Comments, & Embed

Elementor Pro offers an entire suite of Facebook widgets that allow you to integrate your site more deeply with Facebook. You’ll be able to add Facebook like buttons, embed Facebook videos, embed your Facebook page, embed specific comments from your Facebook page, and add Facebook comments to any page or post (instead of the default WordPress commenting system). View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Add Facebook like buttons to your content
  • Use Facebook comments instead of the default WordPress comments on blog posts and pages
  • Embed Facebook comments on your testimonial pages
  • Embed Facebook events and videos on your website
  • Embed your Facebook page to get more page likes

You can toggle how the time is displayed using days, hours, minutes, seconds. Elementor offers multiple layouts and allows you to configure the typography, colors, size, and other styling options. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Add a countdown clock for your live events, sales, and webinars
  • Create urgency by adding a timer that starts when a user loads your page

Elementor Pro review - countdown timer

💪 Table Of Contents

Elementor Pro’s table of contents widget will automatically creates a clickable table of contents based on the headings used on your page. This allows you to present your users with a visual hierarchy of all the important content on your page, making it easier to find the content most relevant to them. If you make your table of contents sticky (such as in a sidebar), users will be able to visualize which section they are in as the work their way down the page. You can customize which heading tags (h2, h3, h4, h5) should be used to detect all of the main titles and subtitles on your page. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Give users a quick overview of really long articles, pages, and blog posts
  • Allow users to quickly skip to a different parts of your page. For example, skip to the “ingredients” or “instructions” section of a recipe blog post.
  • Add a table of contents to make your content seem less overwhelming

💪 Call To Action Boxes

Elementor’s call to action widget will be one of your most-used widgets. You can use it to create interesting call to action boxes that can be styled in a lot of different ways. You can use them in the same way you use the Posts widget: to feature your favorite posts, categories, pages, products, downloads and more. Besides the traditional “classic” skin, you can also use the “cover” skin option to create beautiful call to action galleries with mouse-over zoom animations. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases

  • Segment your users with a group of call to action boxes
  • Showcase a special promotion with a large call to action box
  • Create a clickable image gallery or portfolio
  • Add a global section to your footer with a few of your featured products

💪 Flip Boxes

Elementor Pro’s flip box widget shows different content once a user hovers their mouse over the box. You can add unique content to both the “front” and “back” of the flip box widget and then choose your preferred mouse-over animation (slip, slide, push, fade, zoom in, and zoom out). View Elementor pricing.

💪 Testimonial Carousels

Carousels allow you to rotate multiple pieces of content (in this case testimonials) within the same widget. You can set your carousels to scroll through your testimonials manually or you can force users to click the next button to view more. Elementor Pro’s testimonial carousel offers multiple layout options and the usual customization settings for each testimonial. For the best usability, I would recommend making your next and previous buttons super clear to your users by adjusting their color and increasing their size. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Animated Headlines

Elementor Pro’s headline widget will help you draw attention to your most important headlines and call to actions using subtle animations. Your headlines can have animated underlined words, circled words, crossed out words, rotating phrases, different colors, and more. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Grab your users’ attention by emphasizing specific words in your headline
  • Use rotating words in your headline to illustrate multiple use cases
  • Create multi-colored headlines

💪 Lottie Animations

Lottie is a new and upcoming file type that allows you to add super lightweight (minimal file size) animations to your website. Lottie files behave like vector SVG files—you can adjust the size and color without effecting the quality or file size.

Elementor Pro’s Lottie widget offers a lot of different customization settings. You can trigger your animations based on scroll, click, and mouse hover. You can also adjust the playspeed and set a start/end time or loop them indefinitely. And don’t forget, you can also add additional motion effects to your Lottie animations. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

  • Use a confetti animation to your thank you pages
  • Add an animated arrow to draw attention to important headlines and call to action buttons
  • Make your social media icons animated

💪 Blockquotes & Click To Tweet

Elementor Pro’s blockquote widget let’s you add quote boxes to your pages and blog posts. The widget offers several different skins (border, quotation, boxed, and clean) so you’ll be able to design your blockquotes in a lot of different ways. There’s also a “click to tweet” option that you can set to tweet specific highlights from your articles. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases

  • Add quotes to your blog posts
  • Highlight the most interesting content in your blog posts
  • Add a “click to tweet” option to your quotes
  • Use the blockquote widget for alerts, warnings, or tips

💪 Sticky Elements

Elementor Pro allows you to make any section, column, or widget “sticky” as a user scrolls down the page. This feature is a simple toggle that you can turn on in the Motion Effects section of the Elementor editor. Just like all of Elementor’s motion effects, there’s an option to exclude this effect on specific devices (such as tablet and mobile). You can also add offset values and turn on “contain to column” if you don’t want a widget to stick for the entire length of the page. There are a lot of cool and creative ways to use sticky elements. View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

💪 Custom Fonts & Typekit Integration

Elementor Pro makes it really easy to add custom fonts to your website. After uploading your font files (WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, SVG, EOT) to Elementor, your newly added fonts will be available to in the Elementor editor when you’re customizing any typography settings. Elementor Pro also offers a direct integration with Adobe Typekit which allows you to add your Typekit project ID and sync it with Elementor. View Elementor pricing.

💪 Custom Icon Libraries

Elementor Pro allows you to import your own custom SVG icon packs through Fontello, Icomoon, or Fontastic. Any new icon pack you add will be available in the default Elementor icon library popup when customizing the widgets on your page. Your custom icons can be edited in the same way that the default Font Awesome icons can be edited (you can adjust their size, color, positioning, etc.). View Elementor pricing.

Example Use Cases:

💪 Custom CSS

Elementor Pro’s login widget allows you add a login form to any page of your website. You can use the login widget to design your very own WordPress login page. Note: This widget does not include the ability to create a registration form or a forgot your password form so those pages will still use the WordPress defaults. However, there are some Elementor addons (such as Ultimate Addons) that offer registration widgets. View Elementor pricing.

  • Add additional information to your login page for users who aren’t yet registered
